Nova's Holo Decoy Build provides good single-target sustain damage from the mid game . Since you cannot choose the target of your Clones, this Build is more effective against partially or fully isolated enemy Heroes. Lethal Decoy at Level 16 increases your damage output when having Clones active, although you cannot choose who they will attack. Rapid Projection at Level 4 lets you do this more often and for less Mana. Ionic Force Field at Level 13 makes you and your Clones harder to kill. At Level 20, Rewind is the best option for burst damage, Precision Barrage provides more waveclear and area of effect damage, and Apollo Suit to confuse enemies with Stealth.

Nova's Pinning Shot Build provides superior single-target burst damage in the late game , also enabling allied Heroes to deal more damage if you all focus the same target. The combination of Double Tap at Level 13 and Crippling Shot at Level 16 is great for increasing not only your own damage but also your team's one.

Nova's Snipe Build provides superior single-target sustain damage against Heroes in the early game and solid area-of-effect damage against Heroes and non-Heroes in the late game . Perfect Shot at Level 7 drastically increases your damage output, given you can constantly hit enemy Heroes with Snipe . Psionic Efficiency at Level 13 helps you to recover Precision Sniper stacks when you happen to miss enemies with Snipe . Explosive Round at Level 16 provides waveclear and can be used to hit targets that would be otherwise impossible to reach. Choose this Build when your team needs more waveclear , even though it comes online in the mid game , and when the enemy team features low-mobility Heroes that cannot easily dodge your Snipe .
